BML Islamic Named Platinum Sponsor for International Zakat Conference 2025
The Maldives Zakat House is pleased to announce that BML Islamic will serve as the Platinum Sponsor for the International Zakat Conference 2025.
A signing ceremony to formalize the sponsorship was held yesterday at the BML Islamic office. The agreement was signed by Sheikh Izudeen Adunan, Director General of Zakat, on behalf of the Maldives Zakat House, and Hasan Kalam, Director of BML Islamic Banking, on behalf of BML Islamic.
Through this partnership, BML Islamic will support the Maldives Zakat House in various official capacities to ensure the successful hosting of the conference.
The International Zakat Conference 2025 will focus on strengthening the national zakat regulation and administration system, with the aim of enhancing zakat management in the Maldives. The event is scheduled to take place on 23 August 2025, alongside an Islamic Center gathering.
